What the client wanted

The client had a large property on the other side of the Downs that needed a complete rewire. As well as replacing all the existing wiring, they wanted the house properly set up for how a family actually uses a home today — reliable internet throughout the building rather than a single router with dead spots in half the rooms.

What we did

We carried out a full rewire of the property, replacing all cabling back to the consumer unit. Alongside the electrical installation we ran data cabling throughout the house and installed Wi-Fi access points on each floor. Access points connect automatically as you move around the building, picking up the strongest signal rather than clinging to a weak one from a router in a different room.

Getting data infrastructure right as part of a rewire makes sense — running cables after the walls are plastered is a much bigger job.

Outcome

A fully rewired property with reliable whole-home Wi-Fi, done in one project rather than as an afterthought.
